Harry Kane has inflicted some serious pain on Arsenal over the years.

The England international is one of the best strikers in the world, and he has been magnificent since joining Bayern Munich in 2023.

Despite his good work in Germany, Kane’s popularity in England will be due to his time at Tottenham, where he was consistently their best player.

Now, some news has emerged that is bad news for Spurs but excellent for Arsenal.

Tottenham included a clever clause when they sold Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023.

Spurs now get the first option to bring the striker back to their club if another Premier League side makes an offer to sign him.

Tottenham fans have been dreaming of seeing their former star return to the club. Even Thomas Frank opened the doors recently.

However, news has now emerged that Kane is likely to sign a new contract at Bayern rather than join Tottenham or any other club.

That’s according to Alex Crook, who said on talkSPORT: “I do think he is a player that Spurs are lacking in that number nine department, and Manchester United, as I say, would be interested as well.

“But as we record this video, I think it looks more likely that Harry Kane stays in Germany, keeps adding to his trophy cabinet, and of course, that would stop him from breaking Alan Shearer’s record as the Premier League’s leading goalscorer of all time.”

That is terrible news for Tottenham, but for Arsenal, it’s fantastic.

Kane is the highest scorer in North London Derby history. He almost always found a way to score against the Gunners during his time at Spurs and even found the net with Bayern two seasons ago.

Arsenal are absolute favourites against Tottenham these days, no matter who plays, and with Kane all but certain not to return, the Gunners’ chance of victory will remain high for the foreseeable future.

Harry Kane’s record against Arsenal

Kane was previously a part of the Arsenal academy when he was a kid.

The striker was released at the age of 12 as the coaches felt that he wasn’t good enough. Kane even offered to become a goalkeeper just to stay at Arsenal, but that didn’t work out either.

Then, he joined Tottenham and used the rejection as fuel to perform against Arsenal.

In 21 appearances against Arsenal over the years, Kane directly contributed to 17 goals, which is an incredible return.

Gunners fans haven’t had to worry about him in the Premier League for over two years now, and it looks like he won’t be returning anytime soon either.
