Arsenal have been dealt a serious blow in their attempts to land Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo in the summer transfer window.

That’s because, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the winger is set to prioritise a move to Manchester United over the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle.

The Gunners have held long-term transfer interest in Mbeumo, but have previously failed to confirm a switch for the Cameroonian international.

So, with that said, here’s a look at a few alternatives Arsenal must turn to after Bryan Mbeumo’s latest decision.

Arsenal should target Rodrygo transfer switch

Arsenal have been linked with a transfer for Rodrygo, as the Real Madrid star faces a possible exit from Los Blancos.

The Brazilian is a versatile option, capable of playing on the left flank or the right wing if required, making him a valuable option.

At just 24 years old, there is plenty of room for Rodrygo to grow even further, potentially taking Arsenal to the next level.

Mohammed Kudus transfer chance for Arsenal

Arsenal transfer target Mohammed Kudus has been a name linked in the past, with his impressive performances for West Ham catching the eye.

The Ghanaian international is another versatile option, capable of playing on the right wing or as a playmaker in the number ten role.

While Kudus has a release clause in the region of £85 million, the deal could end up being considerably cheaper if West Ham want to sell.

Arsenal could take advantage of Chelsea with Noni Madueke deal

Chelsea are open to the sale of Noni Madueke, according to the Guardian, which could open up a chance for Arsenal to pounce.

The England international is still only 23, showing his quality in displays during the Premier League this season.

While he isn’t the finished product yet, Madueke has room to grow further, and he is also capable of playing on the left and the right flank.

It may be an opportunity in the market that isn’t usually available, as the Blues look to make other signings.
