Arsenal could consider a loan move for Ethan Nwaneri in the January transfer window.

The teenager became the youngest player to ever make an appearance in the Premier League in 2022, and he has since become a regular in the first team squad.

However, with Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze above him in the pecking order, Nwaneri is yet to start a single game in the league this term.

Arsenal should loan Ethan Nwaneri to Borussia Dortmund

Ethan Nwaneri is a special talent and should get as much game time as possible.

At Arsenal, that is not easy to come by, which is why the Gunners are considering sending him out on loan once the January transfer window opens (Daily Mail).

We’re sure there will be plenty of interest in Nwaneri from clubs in the Premier League and abroad, but if Arsenal can, they should send him to Borussia Dortmund.

The German giants have developed several incredible young players over the years. The likes of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham became global superstars after playing for them.

Dortmund were interested in signing Nwaneri in the summer before he penned a new long-term contract at the Emirates.

If Niko Kovac is still open to signing the 18-year-old on a temporary deal, it would be a no-brainer for the Gunners to send him there for the second half of the season.

Arsenal need to send more young players out on loan

Arsenal haven’t been great with loans over the years.

The only major success in recent seasons was William Saliba’s spell at Marseille. That helped him become one of the best defenders in the world today.

Arsenal should send the likes of Nwaneri and other young players in the academy out on loan to help them develop.

Even if the players don’t fit into Mikel Arteta’s plans, Arsenal could use loan spells to increase their values and make good money from their sales.

Nwaneri, however, is definitely a big part of the plans for the future, and we are convinced that a loan spell at a club like Dortmund will do him a world of good.
