Kaka was one of the greatest players in the world in his prime.
The Brazilian is the only player to win the Ballon d’Or in the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo era, and every football fan absolutely loves him.
Arsenal were linked with Kaka a few times when Arsene Wenger was at the helm, but the Gunners never managed to get him.
Now, one of their players could become just like the AC Milan legend – Gabriel Martinelli.
🏆 Which Arsenal star will go the furthest at this summer’s World Cup?
Zubimendi and Spain? Saka and England? Saliba and France?
Gabriel Martinelli could become the new Kaka because of a position change
Martinelli has had a few underwhelming seasons at Arsenal.
The Brazil international’s talent is unquestionable, and on his day, he can be absolutely unstoppable on the left wing.
However, Arsenal’s attack is usually right-heavy, and the fact that they mostly play against low blocks makes it even more difficult for him.
Carlo Ancelotti may have found a solution for that.

Reports in Brazil have claimed that Martinelli will start as an attacking midfielder for Brazil against Norway at the World Cup.
Ancelotti made Kaka the player he was in the same role at AC Milan, and there is no reason why the Arsenal man cannot follow in his footsteps.
Martinelli was even compared to Kaka many years ago, an honour he really appreciated back then when he was a teenager at Arsenal.
Now, with Ancelotti’s management and the Brazilian’s own pace, power, dribbling ability and eye for goal, we think Martinelli is going to produce Kaka-like performances in his new central role.
Change my mind, Gabriel Martinelli can only save his Arsenal career by becoming a striker.
Mikel Arteta needs to change his mind about Gabriel Martinelli
Mikel Arteta has been very clear about Martinelli’s position at Arsenal.
The former Ituano man has played across the front three under the Gunners’ boss, but two of those positions have been when other players were unavailable.
Arteta has publicly claimed that he sees Martinelli only on the left wing, but it is time for that stance to change if he plans on keeping the player at the club.
The Arsenal number 11 is a far better player when he is used in central positions – either as a striker or in a role just behind the number nine.
We hope Martinelli can have a big impact in such positions for Brazil in their remaining World Cup games. If he does, Arteta may finally change his mind.
