The Gunners are now the only unbeaten side remaining in this season’s competition, sending a statement out to the rest of Europe with their 3-1 victory.
There were some impressive performers on show on the night, but none quite as incredible as Declan Rice.

In the 61st minute of play, a switch flicked in Rice, as he took it upon himself to drive Arsenal forward and attack the space ahead of him to stretch Bayern.

His acceleration and ability to run with the ball stunned Bayern, with the move almost ending in a goal if it hadn’t been for Manuel Neuer’s outstretched leg.
On commentary duty for TNT Sports, Ally McCoist couldn’t contain his delight at seeing the way Rice moved into the final third.
“Absolutely out of this world,” McCoist said, left completely in awe of the Arsenal star’s actions.

It wasn’t just fans at the Emirates and McCoist who appreciated the 26-year-old’s performance, but Arsenal supporters on social media, too.

Another echoed that opinion, “Declan Rice btw. proper midfielder. One of the best we’ve ever witnessed in this generation.”
It was a monstrous performance from Rice, but the best part of it was that it was nothing that Arsenal fans wouldn’t expect to see from the superstar.
