Petr Cech – 6.7
Back in between the sticks last night Petr Cech did a decent job and made a decisive save early on to deny Jay Rodriguez after he played on from a penalty claim.
Laurent Koscielny – 6.9
The Frenchman had a solid display against West Brom as we were in possession for most of the time, however, he was caught out of position which led to Rodriguez’s penalty shout.
Shkodran Mustafi – 7.1
Unfortunately, Mustafi didn’t quite replicate his performance against Chelsea and was a tad shaky at the back and almost gave away a penalty in the opening 10 minutes.
Nacho Monreal – 7.7
Out of the back three, Monreal had the best performance on the left-hand side, making four tackles and winning three headers as well as getting back on the line to clear a Jay Rodriguez header off the line late in the first half.
Hector Bellerin – 6.8
Like Mustafi, Bellerin didn’t quite have as good a game as he did at Stamford Bridge, he wasn’t bothered too much by Kieran Gibbs down the left but didn’t seem too comfortable going forward.
Mohamed Elneny – 7.0
Elneny had a very solid game but saw himself get much further forward than he usually does, even winning a free kick on the edge of the box which resulted in Lacazette’s first goal.
Granit Xhaka – 6.5
It hasn’t been a great few weeks for Granit Xhaka, who again, last night gave the ball away quite frequently and easily in midfield, luckily it didn’t cost us in the end.
Sead Kolasinac – 7.2
Down the left-hand side, Kolasinac continued to do what we’ve become accustomed to seeing him do by staying secure in defence as well as offering a threat going forward with his direct runs.
Aaron Ramsey – 7.0
Off the back of his Man of the Match performance against Chelsea, Ramsey was decent last night. Playing further forward he still managed to roam in midfield and dictate play as well as not overplaying before winning a penalty in the second half after driving into the West Brom penalty box and getting bundled over by Allan Nyom.
Alexis Sanchez – 7.3
In his first Premier League start of the season for Arsenal, not everything came off for Sanchez with passes going astray and with him sometimes running into traffic, but he managed to get his free kick up and over the wall for Ben Foster to push onto the bar and into the path of Lacazette for his first goal of the night.
Alexandre Lacazette – 8.2
Our new record signing proved to be the difference last night as his brace secured the three points for us. A striker’s finish from a rebound and a coolly slotted penalty did the trick to take him up to four goals for the season.
Olivier Giroud – N/A
Mesut Ozil – N/A
Ainsley Maitland-Niles – N/A
With all our substitutes coming on with less than ten minutes to go there wasn’t much they did of note apart from a couple of decent touches here and there.
