Alan Shearer believes that Arsenal’s recruitment last summer was so impressive and has helped them to win the Premier League.
Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, Piero Hincapie, Viktor Gyokeres, Cristhian Mosquera, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard were all signed last summer.
Gyokeres has been superb for Arsenal with 21 goals in total, and he will be hoping to add to that tally in the Champions League final.
Eze has also come up with some big moments for Arsenal, with Madueke, Hincapie, Mosquera and Zubimendi all making key contributions.

Speaking about Arsenal’s title win, Shearer told Match of the Day: “We spoke 15 or 20 minutes ago about the recruitment and how it hasn’t worked for other teams.
“I think the recruitment for them in terms of how they wanted to play this season has been absolutely spot on.
“Every decision they made last summer and bringing players in Eze, Madueke, Hincapie, Gyokeres, Mosquera, Zubimendi and Norgaard, all of these players have played and it’s worked for them.”

Previously, Arsenal’s recruitment has been all over the place, but last summer, the club seemed much more methodical in its approach.
Now it seems to have paid off big time, and Berta will now be looking to go again in the summer, making more big-name additions.
