Arsenal are still on the hunt for someone to replace former sporting director Edu Gaspar.
Edu Gaspar recently resigned from his post at the Emirates Stadium.

Could Dan Ashworth replace Edu Gaspar at Arsenal?
Arsenal will be considering a number of potential candidates to become the club’s new sporting director.
The North London club may now be considering a move for Dan Ashworth, after his ousting from Manchester United.
As reported by The Athletic, Ashworth has left Old Trafford after just five months in the role of sporting director there.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, speaking on X, Ashworth left Manchester United amid: “Tense situation with Sir Jim Ratcliffe, not happy at all with last summer strategy.”
Whilst things clearly did not work out for the 53-year-old at Old Trafford, he built an impressive reputation for himself in his time with Newcastle United, and previously did good work with Brighton.
Ashworth has proven that he can make canny decisions in the transfer market, and Arteta should seriously consider bringing him to Arsenal to take up the vacancy left by Edu.
Who do Arsenal want to replace Edu?
Even if the Gunners are considering Ashworth, he is not the only potential candidate for the sporting director role.
Arsenal are looking at Luis Campos, who is currently working with PSG. There has been no confirmation that he is set to make the switch to the Emirates Stadium, though.
Arteta is leading the search for Edu’s replacement, and it is vital that the club hire a candidate who can work effectively with the Spanish coach.
The manager and the sporting director need to be able to design a squad building plan together, so it is vital that they have compatible ideas and philosophies and a shared vision for the future and direction of the club.
