Arsenal could take one step closer to completing a sale this summer after what has just happened to one Premier League rival.
When it comes to inter-Premier League transfers, Arsenal have shown a recent interest in dealing with those close to home.
Arsenal have signed many Chelsea players over the years, and when it comes to offloading stars, Fulham have been on hand.
Marco Silva’s squad is made up of several players who once had ties to Arsenal, with the figure having a real chance of rising this summer.

Fulham could be more likely to pursue Oleksandr Zinchenko transfer
Fulham want to sign Reiss Nelson, who spent last season on loan at Craven Cottage, reconnecting with Emile Smith Rowe, Bernd Leno, Alex Iwobi and Willian.
It’s not only Nelson who is set to leave Arsenal this summer, as fellow Fulham target Oleksandr Zinchenko is likely to depart.
Zinchenko could join Nelson at Fulham ahead of the 2025/26 season, but after the initial reports, such talk has died down slightly.
There is, however, something that could prompt Silva to put some life back into Fulham’s interest in Zinchenko, as the coach is experiencing an injury crisis in his squad at the worst possible time.
During Fulham’s pre-season win over Eintracht Frankfurt, Ryan Sessegnon picked up an injury, something that will sound alarms given the player’s extensive history when it comes to hamstring injuries.
Silva confirmed that Sessegnon ‘felt something’, which could prompt Fulham to contact Arsenal about Zinchenko, who cost £30m in 2022, as their left-back options wear thin.
First choice Antonee Robinson is still not fully fit, and if Sessegnon is facing a spell on the sidelines, Zinchenko could be the answer.
Mikel Arteta braced for Arsenal exits
After Andrea Berta welcomed six new players to the Arsenal squad, the focus has now shifted to departures.
The Gunners need to sell some players, with Mikel Arteta admitting that the club are not done in the window just yet.

Speaking after Arsenal’s pre-season win over Athletic Bilbao, Arteta shared that ‘a few players’ will have to leave.
“Let’s see what happens in terms of where the squad is in the next few weeks, but we are actively looking at options, as well.
“There are a few players, maybe, that they have to leave as well, so we’ll be open to see what happens.”
Zinchenko is surely one who will depart this summer, with Fulham one of the clubs showing interest in the Ukrainian.
