Should Arsenal axe Almunia?

Manuel Almunia produced an error-strewn display on Saturday as Arsenal’s flagging Premier League challenge took another hit
Although the Spaniard kept a clean sheet in the goalless draw with Blackburn, that was more by luck than judgement as our video shows (UK users only).
He almost produced a Robert Green special, fumbling Martin Olsson’s seemingly harmless shot narrowly wide.
And he was comprehensively beaten in the air when he misguidedly came to punch a high ball just before half-time – again, the ball missed the goal by a matter of inches.
Jens Lehmann looked on from the bench, knowing Almunia’s blunders increase his chances of a recall aged 41.
The German came out of retirement to sign a short-term contract at the Emirates following injuries to Lukasz Fabianski and Wojciech Szczesny – and he looks an increasingly attractive option for the Gunners’ title run-in.
