Some people just cannot catch a break (too soon? Sorry). Last night, after a long battle returning to fitness, __-year-old English international, and the long assumed future of the Arsenal midfield, Jack Wilshere has once again been bitten by the injury bug that has plagued him throughout his career.
Wilshere went into a challenge with _____________ that left him wincing in a heap on the turf. Having done so much to get back to fitness after his last injury, the ______ to his _____ leg _ months ago, there was some hope that the on time boyhood phenom might finally be able to move on from his injury woes.
Speaking to reporters after the match, _______ manager ____________ said of the player, “we hope to have Jack back as quickly as possible. He is such a talented lad, and his influence in the dressing room is hard to quantify, but we will miss him and continue to support him in his recovery.”
And while initial viewing of the incident suggests an aggravation of that same ____ leg ______, neither Wilshere or any of the other players and staff were in a rush to speculate.
The midfielder is understandably distraught, and will once again find himself in a race against time to contend for a place in struggling England manager, ____________’s starting XI. In a tournament that many feel England were lucky to even qualify for, Wilshere’ recovery could have an impact on the Three Lions chances this summer.
