Swansea City 3-1 Arsenal Man of the Match

Despite us putting in yet another embarrassing performance in away from home this season, there were a few players that impressed in patches.
One player this applies too the most is Nacho Monreal. For the most part, the left back played very well as he was a constant threat going forward and was solid at the back.
He did well to contribute to his fourth goal in three games sneaking in at the back post to finish Mesut Ozil’s inch perfect ball.
However, his hard work was undone when a slip saw Swansea break on our goal and score their third of the game.
Someone who was a bit more consistent in his performance last night was Mohamed Elneny. Playing in a holding role like he did against Chelsea last week he made some important interventions including a last-ditch tackle and a couple of interceptions early on.
However, last night’s man of the match will go to Mesut Ozil. He didn’t set the world alight but his assist for Monreal was simply unreal which at the time looked to help us push on. Unfortunately that wasn’t quite the case.
