Arsenal are in the market for a new striker.
Arsenal seemingly feel that Gabriel Jesus is a player they can find an upgrade on.
Jesus has come in for plenty of criticism this season. The Brazilian striker has only found the back of the net three times in the Premier League over the course of the current campaign so far.
For all of the 26-year-old’s obvious qualities, there is a sense that he is simply not prolific enough to fire the north London club to a Premier League title triumph.
Whilst the £45 million former Manchester City man offers flair, tremendous work rate, and links up brilliantly with those around him, a key element is missing. Jesus has himself admitted that goalscoring is not one of the great strengths of his game.
As such, it is unsurprising to have seen the Gunners linked with a number of strikers that they could potentially look to bring to the club.
We have now assessed three such targets who could represent a significant upgrade on Jesus.

3 strikers Arsenal could sign to replace Gabriel Jesus
Victor Osimhen
Victor Osimhen is the most high-profile name on this list, and would likely prove the most expensive signing to secure. However, the Nigerian is certainly keen to make a move. Despite signing a new contract with Napoli, Osimhen has made it clear that he intends to leave the Italian outfit in 2024, and he has a £112 million release clause included in his new deal.
The 25-year-old is a powerful presence at the top end of the pitch, and is a deadly finisher. Last season he fired Napoli to a historic Serie A title triumph with a return of 26 goals in 32 league outings.
Ivan Toney
Arsenal have been heavily linked with Ivan Toney, who would apparently welcome a formal approach from the Gunners. However, Brentford are thought to want £100 million in exchange for the once-capped England man.
Toney bagged 20 goals in the Premier League last time around, and got up and running with his first goal of the season on Saturday, having served an eight-month ban for breaching betting rules.

Viktor Gyokeres
Viktor Gyokeres represents something of a wildcard, as he is yet to prove himself at the very top level. However, Arsenal are still thought to be admirers of the 25-year-old Swedish striker.
Gyokeres tore it up in the Championship last season with Coventry City, scoring 21 times in the second tier of English football, earning himself a move to Sporting. He has now hit new heights in Portugal, and so far this season he has contributed 22 goals and 10 assists across all competitions.
He is quick, strong, technically excellent and on the rise. Gyokeres may just be the next big thing and Mikel Arteta would be wise to take a chance on him.
