Leicester City vs Arsenal on paper was always going to be a difficult game but not many people expected the hosts to start as favourites. Brendan Rodgers’ side are third in the league after an exceptional start and they are very capable of hurting us.

Jamie Vardy and James Maddison are two of Leicester’s most dangerous players. However, Rodgers has others at his disposal who are capable of causing serious damage to us on Saturday. Here are three players that Arsenal need to look out for:

Ricardo Pereira:

The Portuguese international has arguably been Leicester’s best player since the start of last season. Pereira was the Foxes’ player of the year after an impressive debut campaign last term and he has continued his form into the new campaign.

The 26-year-old possesses rapid pace and is capable of putting balls on a plate for Vardy and co to finish. Kieran Tierney will face his biggest test as an Arsenal player and he has to be up for it.

Youri Tielemans:

It is hard to believe that Tielemans is still only 22 years old. The Belgian has been around forever and was Leicester’s record signing in the summer. A hugely successful loan spell in the second half of last season where he scored against Arsenal and was one of the best players on the pitch that day.

Tielemans has been in fine form this season having scored five goals and picked up four assists in all competitions. He is certain to be a huge threat thanks to his late runs into the box, long shots and vision.

Ayoze Perez:

An impressive hat-trick against Southampton will certainly be fresh in his memory and he will be excited about the prospect of playing against this Arsenal’s defence. Perez is never really a constant threat but he has the ability to change the game in a space of five minutes.

The former Newcastle man’s movement is very good and it is something that our backline should be wary about on Sunday.
