Arsenal will be looking to continue their Premier League title charge as they make the short trip to face West Ham.

The Gunners find themselves third in the table, but just two points away from top after closing the gap on leaders Liverpool. A 3-1 victory over the Merseyside outfit last time out has blown the race at the top wide open.

Mikel Arteta will be hopeful his side can push on, but face a tough challenge against West Ham next up. The Hammers have proven to be a resilient side, capable of soaking up pressure before hitting back with devastating counterattacks and set-pieces.

They orchestrated that perfectly last season, earning a draw at the London Stadium that dented Arsenal’s title hopes. David Moyes has gone on to improve the squad further, with hopes of qualifying for European football again.

With that said, here’s a look at three West Ham players that would improve Arsenal’s squad ahead of the clash.

Jarrod Bowen

Jarrod Bowen’s rise to the Premier League has been nothing short of impressive, becoming a key player for West Ham. His pace and clinical finishing have made him a force to be reckoned with on the counterattack.

With his ability to play as a winger or as a centre-forward, Bowen has shown he is capable of being a big player for big moments and would suit Arsenal well.

Mohammed Kudus

Making the move from Ajax to the Premier League last summer, Mohammed Kudus has looked comfortable in new surroundings. The Ghanaian international has become an instant hit at West Ham, with plenty of quality in the forward areas.

His ball-carrying is a key trait, while Kudus has also displayed an ability to strike the ball with some ferocity too. The 23-year-old could fill in well for Arsenal on the wing or in a midfield capacity, if he were to join the squad.

Lucas Paqueta

Another recent West Ham transfer success story has been that of Lucas Paqueta joining from Lyon. The Brazilian has been a standout performer for the Hammers, with his recent absence felt throughout the squad.

Paqueta had been on the radar of Manchester City, showing just how impressive he has been over his first year in the division. It’s the type of move for Arsenal that would improve the attacking midfield ranks, while he could offer something deeper too.
