Viktor Gyokeres might have something to say to Martin Odegaard once the two players return to Colney.
The pair were on international duty over the break in play for the September fixtures.
While Gyokeres struggled with Sweden, who lost and drew over the break, Odegaard was shining with Norway, contributing to three goals.
Mikel Arteta will be delighted to have two of the most important components of his attack back from duty unscathed, with a lot of work to do at Arsenal when the Premier League resumes.

Viktor Gyokeres might find Martin Odegaard’s comments on Erling Haaland ironic
One thing Arteta needs to work on is getting the Arsenal squad more in tune with Gyokeres, who has been left isolated on countless occasions this season.
It’s clear that Arsenal’s attack doesn’t know how to play with Gyokeres, who is consistently attempting to make runs in behind, but service isn’t provided.
The ongoing adaptation period at Arsenal will take time, but one thing that Odegaard said over the international break might have Gyokeres wondering why his teammates are yet to fully click with him on the pitch.
After Norway’s resounding 11-1 victory over Moldova, the Arsenal captain waxed lyrical about Erling Haaland when speaking to Norwegian outlet VG.
“It’s a dream to play with him. I know when I come down the right or the left, he’s going to dive in behind. He’ll make the perfect run, and then it’s just up to me to hit him. Most of the time he finishes the chances he gets, so that’s brilliant.”
If Gyokeres had heard what Odegaard said, he might have felt overcome by irony, as the Swede operates in a similar way to Haaland.
Odegaard was playing through balls and balls over the top to Haaland on international duty, but before the break, the playmaker wasn’t giving anything like that level of service to Gyokeres.
There might be a conversation to be had between the two Arsenal players, who have all the tools and evidence that they can become a hit.
Gyokeres would’ve loved what Odegaard did in the fifth minute against Moldova
Arsenal saw Odegaard at his brilliant best against Moldova, but admittedly, it’s been a while since the midfielder has been at such a level for his club.
The arrival of Gyokeres will surely aid the captain in getting back to his best, particularly if he treats his partnership with the Swede as he does his one with Haaland for the national team.

During Norway’s win over Moldova, there was one moment that would’ve had Gyokeres licking his lips.
In the fifth minute, Odegaard saw Haaland lurking alongside Moldova’s back line, prompting the playmaker to loft a chipped ball over to the striker, who then put the ball on a plate for Felix Horn Myhre to convert.
Already this season, Gyokeres has shown that he’s desperate to receive those kinds of passes, but hasn’t had his wish granted, giving Odegaard food for thought once he returns.
