The Gunners have already sold Leandro Trossard this month, and there is a big chance that they could move their Brazilian on as well.
So far, there have been no offers or links, but Martinelli is a supreme talent who has the ability to become an absolute superstar at a club that suits him.
For that reason, Arsenal should demand big money to let him go – just like West Ham have done with Crysencio Summerville now.
A deal is in place for the transfer of the Dutch international to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli for around €80 million (David Ornstein on X).
This is the same Summerville who scored a grand total of seven goals in 34 games and got relegated with West Ham last season.
Martinelli, on the other hand, is a Premier League champion, a Champions League finalist, and an attacker who finished last season with 18 direct goal contributions in 25 starts in all competitions.
Common sense will tell you that Arsenal should demand a lot more for Martinelli than West Ham are about to receive for Summerville.
If it’s a Saudi club, the Gunners should be looking at around €100 million to start talks, because that is what he is worth in this inflated market.
