Arsenal and Chelsea had some great battles when Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho were at the helm of the two clubs.
The self-proclaimed Special One got the better of the Gunners on multiple occasions at the time, and he was never shy to pat himself on the back.
At one point in 2013, Mourinho went on a 10-game unbeaten run against Wenger’s side, and he made every Arsenal fan know about that statistic.
Chelsea supporters enjoyed that back then, but it has now backfired on them.

Arsenal do to Chelsea what Jose Mourinho did to Arsene Wenger
As much as it pains us to say it, Jose Mourinho is one of the greatest managers of all time.
The Portuguese tactician helped the Blues win three Premier League titles back in the day, and he inflicted a lot of pain on the Gunners.
In December 2013, Chelsea held Arsenal to a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium in a game filled with controversy.
In typical fashion, the Blues sat deep and frustrated Arsenal, so much so that the home fans started chanting ‘boring, boring Chelsea’.
After the game, when Mourinho was asked about that chant, he replied, as per The Independent: “I’d agree. I played against them 10 times, and I never lost.

“‘Funny, funny Jose’. Ten times, they don’t win once. What do you want to call me?”
Chelsea fans who laughed at their manager’s comments then are doing the complete opposite now because the tables have turned.
Mikel Arteta is unbeaten in his last 10 games against Chelsea. He has also won more games against the Blues than any other club in his career as a manager.
Furthermore, none of the West London club’s last five managers have managed a single win against Arteta’s Arsenal.
If this isn’t domination, we don’t know what is.

Mikel Arteta could extend another insane record in the Carabao Cup final
Arsenal have reached the final of the Carabao Cup following their win against Chelsea, and Arteta would love nothing more than to win it.
The Gunners boss hasn’t won a major trophy since the FA Cup in 2020, and it would be fantastic to end that drought in March.
It will be one of Manchester City or Newcastle United in the final, and neither game will be easy. But, the two sides will need to be scared of Arteta’s outrageous record at Wembley.
The Spaniard has been involved in 12 games at Wembley as a player and a manager, and he hasn’t lost a single one of those games.
If he can extend that record in March, Arsenal will win their first League Cup in over three decades.
