Newcastle United star and their best player Allan Saint-Maximin has urged his club to sign Arsenal ace Joe Willock in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The young Englishman has been on fire for the Magpies over the last few weeks. He has almost single-handedly saved them from relegation, and Steve Bruce has been very vocal about his desire to sign him on a permanent deal in the coming weeks.
Saint-Maximin has been really impressed with Willock as well. He claims that he is very close to the Arsenal man, and has compared their good relationship to that of Tottenham stars Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

Allan Saint-Maximin: Joe Willock and I can be like Kane and Son
He told Sky Sports: “Sometimes you have to think about your future, you can see Leicester winning the FA Cup, you play football to win trophies, not to fight to stay up.
“We have to buy more players like Joe Willock, he can be really great for the team and for myself. I am 24 years old and have to think about the national team, about winning trophies, and hope the club can give me that.
“My relationship is really good with Joe inside and outside the pitch, and you can see how that helps a team when you have players like that – like Harry Kane and Heung-min Son at Tottenham.”

The Insider’s View
Willock has showed the world that he is ready to compete in the Premier League against the best teams in the country. He has scored five goals in his last five games – a record that’s almost unheard of for an Arsenal midfielder.
Newcastle are certain to make a move for Willock and so will other clubs. However Arsenal would be silly to offload him, especially after how good he has been since joining the Magpies in January.
The only reason that supports selling Willock is money. It’s no secret that Arsenal will have to raise funds this summer, and if an offer north of £30 million is put on the table, it’s hard to imagine Edu rejecting that.
That would be a real shame, but it is a very highly possibility.
