Thierry Henry made it through eight years at Arsenal without losing against Tottenham in the North London Derby.
The Arsenal legend has many tales to tell about the historic fixture, including when he won the Premier League at White Hart Lane in 2004.
Henry actually missed his first North London Derby due to injury, but he certainly made up for lost time, contributing to seven goals in the 11 matches he lined up against Spurs.
Mikel Arteta would love to have Henry in his Arsenal squad to face Tottenham on Sunday, but the striker’s insight into the derby will have to do.

Thierry Henry recalled when Tottenham made him feel sick
Henry experienced so many highs against Spurs and the occasional low, which, by his record, only meant drawing the game instead of winning.
Winning the league at White Hart Lane was a high, but a low came in 2006, when Arsenal drew with Spurs in the last ever North London Derby at Highbury.
In a 2017 interview with Sky Sports about Arsenal’s rivalry with Tottenham, Henry unpacked the 1-1 draw between the two clubs, which saw Robbie Keane open the scoring.
Keane’s goal was controversial, as Emmanuel Eboue was lying on the floor after a challenge, with Spurs playing on to eventually score.
“They scored that goal when they apparently didn’t see Emmanuel Eboue on the ground,” Henry said.
“At the end of the day, it is what it is; you should play to the referee’s whistle. We stopped, and Robbie Keane scored, celebrating in front of their fans.
“I felt sick, so that celebration you see from me is pure anger and rage. We all know what happened at the end of that season again. We had the last laugh.”

Watching Keane celebrate in front of the away end at Highbury made Henry feel sick, so the Frenchman responded in the way he knew best: to score.
Henry epitomised how high the stakes are when playing in the North London Derby, feeling physically ill after watching the Lilywhites celebrate.
Henry will be at the Emirates when Arsenal play Tottenham
Arsenal’s record goalscorer will wish he could be on the pitch on Sunday, but he’s not going to be far from the action at all.
Ahead of the fixture, Henry revealed that he will be at the Emirates for the derby, predicting that it will be a tough afternoon for the hosts.
“Tottenham haven’t lost away from home yet, so it is going to be an interesting one. I will be there.”
Having a figure who never lost a North London Derby in attendance could be considered a good luck charm for Arteta’s side, who will have their eyes firmly on three points.
