Victor Osimhen reportedly favours a move to Chelsea this summer, though Arsenal are still in with a chance of signing the striker.

The Napoli superstar has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League over the last 12 months, with the Nigerian international believed to be off in the summer for a reported £110m.

With Arsenal in the market for a new attacker, the north London side could make a huge statement in the coming months by landing Osimhen, though the forward prefers a move to Chelsea.

According to TeamTalk, the Serie A talisman still favours a move to Chelsea, despite the Blues latest failure in the League Cup and their horrendous form in the Premier League.

Yet as per the report, nothing is set in stone yet, and Arsenal could still be in with a chance of signing Osimhen, with PSG also chasing the striker as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

Indeed, Arsenal have made some big moves in the market under Mikel Arteta and Edu Gaspar, with last year’s capture of Declan Rice one of the best in the club’s recent history.

And for this summer, signing Osimhen must be as important for the Gunners as the arrival of Rice, with a world-class striker the missing piece in Arsenal’s squad heading into next season.

Chelsea might have the funds to rival Arsenal for any player in world football, yet performances and culture off the pitch speak volume for those looking to make a move to the Premier League.

And for Osimhen, there’s no denying that the attacker will be making a mistake if he was to opt for a move to Stamford Bridge over the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino is failing to ignite any sort of future for Chelsea, and for Osimhen, the prospect of joining Arsenal will seem more appealing after everything Arteta has done at the club since 2019.
