Arsenal could terminate Pepe contract

With just hours of the transfer window remaining, there is no sign of an exit for winger Nicolas Pepe, and Arsenal are keen to cut his salary from the wage bill.

The Daily Mail have now reported that the club could terminate his contract, with his wages currently blocking any potential late incoming transfer.

The Saudi Arabian and Turkish transfer windows will still be open for a few weeks, so perhaps there may be movement beyond today’s deadline.
