Arsenal star Jakub Kiwior has struggled for minutes this season, and is now being targeted by European giants AC Milan for a potential loan move.
The 23-year-old joined from Serie A side Spezia in the January window, but has made just 14 appearances in all competitions since.
With just two starts in the Premier League this season, Kiwior is far from a first-team regular, but Mikel Arteta may consider him an important part of the squad.
Gabriel Magalhaes, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu are ahead of him in the pecking order on the left side of the defence, but Kiwior is a solid depth option.
AC Milan want Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior
A report from CalcioMercato has now claimed that AC Milan are interested in Kiwior amongst a number of players they could target on loan, with Stefano Pioli keen to add more defensive depth to his side.
Kiwior, as well as Chelsea’s Trevor Chalobah, have been described as “interesting solutions” for the Rossoneri.
Would Arsenal loan Kiwior to AC Milan?

Despite his lack of minutes so far, Kiwior is an important part of the Arsenal squad given the lack of defensive depth in the side.
The Poland international has been impressive when he has played, and is the main cover for Gabriel Magalhaes as a left-footed centre-back.
His ability to play as a left-back also makes him useful, and he started in last week’s matches against Sheffield United and West Ham, both as a replacement for and alongside Gabriel, and was arguably Arsenal’s best player in the defeat at the London Stadium.
It seems highly unlikely that Arteta would sanction a loan or permanent exit in January, having already stopped him from joining Sevilla in the summer, and given that Arsenal have a lot of fixtures both domestically and in the Champions League this season, Kiwior will likely end up playing a fair number of games.
