Arsenal fans were certainly concerned when the club lost talented youngster Chidozie Obi-Martin to Manchester United earlier in the year.
Obi-Martin was the latest gem of the Hale End Academy, a player who was lined up to follow in the footsteps of Ethan Nwaneri at Arsenal.
However, once the youngster rejected the club’s contract offer, which Arsenal thought to be generous, it was ultimatelty the end of the road.
Now, Arsenal Insider have spoken to Graeme Bailey and understand that the club could face a similar situation with 18-year-old defender Ayden Heaven.
Ayden Heaven has ignored two contract offers from Arsenal
After being in and around Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad for a year or so, Heaven made his first team debut for Arsenal in the EFL Cup this season.
The youngster featured in Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the United States and has often sat on the bench alongside Arteta since.

However, Arsenal may now be faced with the prospect of losing Heaven in the near future.
Arsenal have failed to convince Heaven to sign his first professional deal with the club, despite two contract offers.

And despite being involved in the first-team of late, Heaven is now considering his options, someone who is regarded as one of the best young defenders of his age in the country.
Chelsea one of three Premier League sides hoping to steal Ayden Heaven for free
Such is Heaven’s talent, there’s interest from around the Premier League with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City all aware of Heaven’s situation.
The defender can leave the club at the end of the season and fans may now see a similar exit to Obi-Martin’s.
However, Arsenal Insider also understands that the strongest interest is coming from abroad and the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Marseille are all ready to move for him.
On their part, Arsenal hope that they can convince Heaven to stay in the coming months.
And perhaps that could mean that the youngster is increasingly involved in cup competitions, with the club’s FA Cup campaign about to begin.
