Now, speaking to Radio Firenze Viola, agent Andrea Ritorni has revealed that Premier League teams are keeping tabs on Kayode, a group which could include Arsenal.

With Football Talent Scout labelling Kayode as a ‘dangerous’ fullback, it’s no real surprise that English sides are now interested in the teenager, who could be the next Serie A export to thrive in the Premier League.

Kayode’s agent said: “Fiorentina need not worry. There is a contract that speaks for him: Michael is doing well with this club and in this team. Of course, various Premier teams follow him and have followed him.

“This interest is normal, it’s part of football and life. However, Fiorentina have tied him down with a nice contract and many bonuses. Let’s think about doing well now and in the future for the purple shirt.

If the Gunners can beat Premier League rivals to Kayode’s signature, Arsenal might land themselves a potential gem in the Italian youngster, who could be ideal for Mikel Arteta’s side.
