Berta is looking to sign a top winger during the summer window, and the 23-year-old is certainly considered to be one of the best young attackers in Europe.

The Premier League champions have been targeting Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, but now the PSG attacker looks to have moved ahead of him.

Arsenal to send scouts to watch Bradley Barcola

Arsenal are expected to send scouts to watch Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola at the World Cup, according to BBC Sport.

The North London club have had the Frenchman on their list of targets for well over a year now and he could finally end up moving to the English capital.

PSG value Barcola at over £116 million and are not keen to lose the winger, despite the potential arrivals of Yan Diomande and Maghnes Akliouche.

But perhaps a big offer from the Gunners could change their mind, along with offering the player a prominent role in the team.

Barcola is not a starter at the Parc Des Princes, but were he to move to the Emirates Stadium, he could be a very key player under Mikel Arteta.

He also has just two years left on his contract at PSG and has yet to agree terms over a new deal, which again could change the European champion’s not-for-sale stance.

Morgan Rogers is one of Arsenal’s top targets, but Aston Villa want £130 million for the attacker, and that could be a huge stumbling block.

💰 How much cash plus Viktor Gyokeres should Arsenal demand for Julian Alvarez?

Rogers is a very good player, homegrown and has Premier League experience, but paying a British transfer record would be ridiculous.

Barcola is now viewed as a strong alternative option to the English international and could quickly become their number one target.
