In the last few hours, Arsenal have made a detailed enquiry to sign Atletico Madrid attacker Julian Alvarez, according to Alfredo Pedulla.

Andrea Berta has made contact over a deal to sign the 26-year-old, and he is feeling good about the North London club’s chances of getting him.

Berta has already signed Alvarez before having been the man to bring him to Atletico Madrid back in the summer of 2024.

Now he is keen to bring him to the Emirates Stadium, with the striker now valued at around £112 million by the Spanish club.

The issue for Arsenal is that PSG have also made enquiries to sign the attacker and are firmly in the race.
