One player signed at Arsenal by Edu Gaspar could follow the Brazilian out of the door, according to reports.
Change is happening at Arsenal, as Edu’s resignation came as a huge shock considering his commitment to the project in process.
The sporting director left his post to join Evangelos Marinakis’ model, seeking a challenge away from the comforts of North London.
Edu and Mikel Arteta ensured that the Gunners re-announced themselves to the Premier League as title challengers, making a list of encouraging signings along the way.

Arsenal transfer news: Leandro Trossard linked to Saudi move
One of the most successful signings that Edu made at Arsenal was the 2023 capture of Leandro Trossard.
The Gunners signed the in-form Brighton winger in the January window for just £27m, a price that has proved to be a bargain over time.
With 33 goal contributions in red and white so far, Trossard’s transfer was one of the best of Edu’s in terms of value and now, it’s suggested that Arsenal could even make a profit on the Belgian.
The Mirror reported that Trossard is of interest to Al-Ittihad, who are said to be ‘eyeing a £40m deal’ for the Arsenal ace.
It’s rumoured that the Saudi Pro League side hope to be successful in their second swoop for the 29-year-old, whom they failed to land on loan in the summer.
In the instance that Arsenal received a fee as high as £40m for Trossard, the Gunners would make a £13m profit on the forward, which would be impeccable business for a player of his age and profile.
Trossard’s concerning start to the season
Trossard made quite the impression at Arsenal and has shown his clinical streak since his arrival, most notably when coming off the bench to influence games.

The issue this term has been that the 29-year-old has failed to deliver similar levels from starting positions, which has not helped when the Belgian has filled in for Martin Odegaard in central areas.
It’s been a trialling 2024/25 campaign so far for Trossard, who has been the subject of criticism for his recent performances.
As a result, there’s a debate to be had over whether accepting a bid from Saudi Arabia in the near future would be smart, based on the lack of influence the former Brighton ace is currently providing.
