Juventus are considering offering Moise Kean in part of a swap deal to sign Arsenal starlet Charlie Patino.
Charlie Patino is currently plying his trade on loan with Swansea City in the Championship. The 20-year-old midfielder has generally impressed in his time with the Welsh outfit. So far this season, he has racked up 16 appearances in the second tier of English football and has chipped in with three goals and four assists.
However, his stint with the Swans could be cut short if Arsenal opt to cash in on the Hale End academy product in the upcoming January transfer window. The Gunners are heading into the winter market with a limited budget at their disposal. Patino is a sellable asset who could be moved on to raise funds with which to bring new blood to the Emirates Stadium.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus are keen on Patino, and would be willing to include Moise Kean as a makeweight in a deal to bring the young midfield ace to Serie A.
Mikel Arteta has talked up Patino’s qualities in the past, as reported by the club’s official website. The England under-21 international has also previously been labelled a “wonderkid” by journalist Sam Dean. Letting him go would likely prove an unpopular move with many Arsenal fans who will be excited by Patino’s potential.

Should Arsenal swap Charlie Patino for Moise Kean?
What’s more, there is a pathway to first team football in place for Patino at the Emirates Stadium. None of Thomas Partey, Jorginho, or Mohamed Elneny represent long-term solutions for the club in the middle of the park. Whilst Arsenal are on the lookout for new midfield acquisitions, Patino himself could easily form part of this rebuild.
On top of the youngster’s quality, the prospect of signing Kean will likely not appeal to the north London club. The 23-year-old attacker previously flopped in the Premier League after making a £37 million move to Everton in the summer of 2019. He has talent but is yet to show that he can shine consistently. He is yet to find the back of the net this season after eleven outings and would not be an improvement on any of Arsenal’s existing attacking options.
It is hard to see the Gunners accepting such a proposal from the Italian outfit. If Juventus stumped up a sizeable cash offer for Patino, that would be one thing, but a swap deal for Kean holds little appeal.
