Arsenal have accepted a bid to sell Leandro Trossard, and the winger is expected to decide his future after the World Cup.
The Belgian winger had a big impact on Arsenal’s Premier League-winning campaign, producing eight goals and 11 assists.
🤔 PICK ONE: Would you rather Arsenal signed Bradley Barcola or Morgan Rogers this summer?
The 32-year-old has become a hugely underrated player at Arsenal, but now he looks set to depart with a new winger incoming.
The Gunners have already accepted an offer for the winger, and he could be the player to make way for a new signing to arrive.
Arsenal have accepted a bid to sell Leandro Trossard
Arsenal have now accepted a £17.2 million bid to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas this summer, according to Sporx.
The Belgian international has already indicated to the Turkish club that he is open to the move, but he will make a final decision after the World Cup.
Currently, Belgium and Trossard are set to play Senegal in the Round of 16 on Tuesday, with the full focus now on that game.
Trossard also has offers from Saudi Arabia, which he could consider, but Besiktas are keen to add him to their squad.
The Turkish club are now eagerly awaiting his final decision, in what could be a major coup for the Turkish giants.
💰 Bruno Guimaraes is turning 29 in November and has TWO years left on his contract… How much should Arsenal pay to sign him?
Arsenal signed Trossard for £27 million back in 2023, and the former Brighton star has proved to be a very successful player at the Emirates Stadium.
But with Morgan Rogers linked with a move to Arsenal, a tough decision needed to be made, and Trossard is the man set to make way.
Gabriel Martinelli should also be sold after Leandro Trossard
Arsenal also need to consider offers for Gabriel Martinelli, who should be the next player sold after Trossard.
Martinelli just scored the winning goal for Brazil against Japan, but he could be sacrificed to make room for a second winger to arrive.
The Brazilian has struggled to kick on in N5, and offloading him would not be the worst idea for the Gunners.
