It’s well known among those who follow Arsenal that Gabriel Martinelli’s spot in the team is potentially up for grabs this summer.
The Brazilian has had a good season in the main and was instrumental in the winner at Sporting Lisbon in midweek.
However, Mikel Arteta is keen to keep on strengthening his team and naturally, a number of left-sided players are being linked with the Gunners.
Now, it appears Arsenal are keeping tabs on one of the Premier League’s brightest young wingers.
If you could set Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly’s price tags, how much would you demand?
Arsenal have interest in Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh
Brighton winger Minteh has had another impressive season in England after moving to the AMEX from Newcastle in a deal worth £33m a few seasons back.
According to the Daily Mail, Minteh has caught the eye of both Arsenal and Liverpool. Arsenal, of course, need either a replacement or proper competition for both Martinelli and Bukayo Saka if they can get it.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to replace Mohamed Salah.
Minteh has hit six goals this season for the Seagulls and at just 21, is very much considered one of the top prospects in European football right now.

Minteh’s ability to play both right and left is a bonus for any club looking to land him, although it could be that Mikel Arteta wants a specialist if he does sign someone.
Minteh joins long list of wingers linked to Arsenal
We are going to see a lot of this between now and the summer. Names will be thrown at the club and players will be linked until Arsenal eventually do sign someone.
Minteh is clearly a good player and his status as already being in the Premier League does give him an advantage over some other targets.
However, the likes of Vinicius Jr and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – both linked with Arsenal – are in a class of their own and would be much higher up the Gunners’ list of targets.
Nevertheless, Minteh has plenty of upside and Mikel Arteta will have liked what he’s seen from the young Ghanaian this season.
Brighton will demand decent money as they always do. But as we saw with Ben White, Arsenal do have a relationship with them already so a deal would more than likely be doable.
