The January transfer window is officially over, and here’s a look at every deal Arsenal did during the last 31 days.
Mikel Arteta and Edu’s plan at the start of the window involved signing Mykhaylo Mudryk and Moises Caicedo. Sadly, neither deal materialised, but we did manage to make three good signings.
One player was sold last month, and 12 others were loaned out to various clubs.

Every deal Arsenal did in the January transfer window
New signings
Arsenal ended the window with three new signings.
Leandro Trossard was the first one in from Brighton and Hove Albion. The 28-year-old was signed in a £27 million deal – £20 million of which was paid up front (Sky Sports).
Jakub Kiwior was our second signing last month.
A deal to sign the talented Pole came out of nowhere. Edu sorted it out away from the eyes of the media, and before anyone knew it, it was done. The deal for Kiwior was worth £20 million (Sky Sports).
Jorginho was our third and final signing of the January transfer window. The Italian has joined us from Chelsea in a deal worth £12 million, and he has signed an 18-month contract (Sky Sports).

Loan departures
12 players under Arsenal’s books were sent out on loan last month.
The high-profile names were Albert Sambi Lokonga, Marquinhos and Cedric Soares. The three players secured deadline day moves to Crystal Palace, Norwich City and Fulham respectively, and they’ll spend the remainder of the season there.
10 other players from our academy were also sent out on loan to gain some valuable experience under their belt.
Brooke Norton-Cuffy was recalled from Rotherham and sent to Coventry City; Arthur Okonkwo from Crewe Alexandra to Sturm Graz; and Miguel Azeez and Omar Rekik from UD Ibiza and Sparta Rotterdam respectively to Wigan Athletic.
Tom Smith joined Colchester United, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji went to Accrington Stanley and Taylor Foran signed for Hartlepool United. Kido Taylor-Hart and Billy Vigar have both been sent to Derby County.

One player sold
Of all the players at Arsenal, only one of them left the club on a permanent deal – Harry Clarke.
The 21-year-old defender spent eight years with us but didn’t get an opportunity to play for the senior side in a competitive game. He was loaned out on numerous occasions, the latest of which was to Stoke City in the first half of this campaign.
At the start of January, Arsenal recalled him and allowed him to join Ipswich Town on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
Clarke posted an emotional goodbye to everyone at Arsenal on Instagram after his departure was confirmed last month.
