Arsenal are preparing for a potentially busy January transfer window, where the side may strengthen in search of the Premier League title.
The Gunners are currently just off the pace of their rivals, with Manchester City and Liverpool leading the way.
There is still plenty of time in the season for Mikel Arteta to pick his squad up and continue their pursuit, though the depth of the squad has been questioned.
With a mixture of domestic cup competitions, the Champions League and Premier League football on the cards, Arsenal will have to make full use of the squad to get the maximum out of a busy schedule.
The January transfer window may offer a chance to add extra quality through the door at the Emirates Stadium, with one star already touted with a move.

Arsenal to battle Liverpool for Bryan Mbeumo transfer
One star name who has impressed in the Premier League for several seasons is Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo.
The 25-year-old joined the Bees from second-tier side Troyes in 2019 for a fee worth just £5.8million, seemingly a bargain.
The Cameroon international has already bagged eight goals in nine games for Brentford, filling the shoes of Ivan Toney well.
That has, naturally, brought about some interest elsewhere in the Premier League for the winger ahead of the January transfer window.
According to TalkSPORT, Arsenal are one of several sides following a move for Mbeumo, with Brentford slapping a £50million price tag on him.
Liverpool are another team showing interest, with the 25-year-old suggested as an option to replace Mohamed Salah in the long-term.
Newcastle are also believed to be in the race, having struggled to bolster Eddie Howe’s options over the summer.

Bryan Mbeumo stats this season
It’s fair to say that Mbeumo is having an outstanding season so far, being one of the most in-form players in the Premier League and even Europe as a whole.
With eight goals in nine league games, he is one of the leaders in front of the net, while his finishing stats are off the charts.
According to FBRef, Mbeumo is outperforming his Expected Goals (xG) the most in the top five leagues combined, with an xG difference of +4.2 – meaning he has scored over four goals more than he was expected based on the average player.
Over his time with Brentford, the winger has proven he isn’t just an average player though and he will continue to thrive.
As he approaches his peak years, there’s little surprise that some of the best teams in the world are looking at him.
The question remains whether Arsenal will land him or if he will move elsewhere.
