Arsenal are gearing up for a summer transfer window that could push them over the line to win the silverware they are so desperately craving.
So far this season, the Gunners have shown flashes of their best ability but without the results to always show for it.
There are some clear issues for Mikel Arteta to ponder over, not least the creativity and scoring problems in the final third.
While Arsenal have often shown good build-up play, they are missing that option who can unlock a low-block for them.
Solutions within the squad have been looked at, but it may well take the transfer market to solve that problem.

Arsenal want Leroy Sane on free transfer this summer
Coming into the summer market, there is plenty to be excited about as Arsenal seem set to push for some big deals.
With the arrival of Andrea Berta as the new sporting director expected in the next few weeks, the plans are starting to form over the summer moves.
Arsenal Insider understands that three areas are a priority, with centre-forward being at the top of that list alongside at least one midfielder and a winger.
The latter of those could help with the creativity problems the side faces, with plenty of different links appearing.
The latest is Leroy Sane, as SportBILD reporter Christian Falk reports that Arsenal are taking serious interest in the forward.
The experienced winger is set to be a free agent in the summer, with Falk claiming that no discussions are underway over a new contract.
Mikel Arteta previously worked with Sane in his time as the Manchester City assistant manager, while his friend Pep Guardiola knows plenty about him too.

Pep Guardiola called Leroy Sane the “best” winger in the world
While Sane has gone on to impress at Bayern Munich, it wasn’t that long ago that the German international was lining up for Manchester City.
The winger was praised on a regular basis by Pep Guardiola, who knows a thing or two about bringing through impressive forwards.
Speaking in 2019, the Man City head coach told the press of Sane: “Playing in the middle he can do it but I think he’s better out wide.
| Appearances | Goals | Assists |
|---|---|---|
| 135 | 39 | 43 |
“I’m not saying he can’t [play in the middle] but at the moment we have better players to do that job.
“But Leroy is the best playing in the world out wide. I’d prefer to use him where he is strongest, he’s an incredible player.”
It remains to be seen whether that same Sane could come and make an impact if he were to join Arsenal.
