Nusa is not a new name to Arsenal fans.
The Norway international, who has been hailed as ‘exceptional‘ by Erling Haaland, has been on the Gunners’ radar for a few years now.
With Rogers no longer an option, and others like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia almost impossible to sign, Andrea Berta is looking at smarter alternatives.
The Sun claim that Nusa is one of them, and that the Premier League champions are set to go head-to-head in a fierce transfer battle with Tottenham for his signature.
RB Leipzig aren’t particularly keen on letting the 21-year-old attacker leave the club, especially as it is looking like they will lose Yan Diomande too.
So, they have slapped a £51 million price tag on Nusa, which isn’t too much at all for a club like Arsenal in today’s market.
However, Nusa only scored five goals and provided four assists for Leipzig in 35 games last season, which is not an eye-catching return.
So, we are far from convinced that he is the player Arsenal should be trying to sign.
