Nuno Tavares is reportedly wanted by VfL Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen, with Mikel Arteta keen on selling the Arsenal defender this summer.
According to Sky Sports News, the Portuguese youth international is now on the radar for both Bundesliga clubs, with Arsenal looking to sell Tavares two years after signing the 23-year-old from Benfica.
As per the report, Arsenal want at least £13m from Tavares this window, with the left-back impressing at Olympique Marseille on the pitch, though issues off it were notable for the youngster.

Why Pele Is Overrated.
With the defender yet to feature for the Gunners this pre-season, there’s a strong chance that Tavares will never be seen playing for the north London side again, and a sale could now be on the cards.
The fullback is one of a handful of players Arsenal are looking to ship off this summer, and with two Bundesliga sides now interested in Tavares, a deal could be in the works.

Moreover, with a reported asking price of £13m, Bremen or Wolfsburg could have the finances to meet Arsenal’s demands, an outcome that will please everyone this summer.
Arsenal have to push hard to sign Tavares this month

With the transfer window closing in just over three weeks, there’s still plenty of deadwood Arsenal need to shift off before the market closes until December, with Tavares one of the biggest names on the agenda.
The left-back clearly has no future at Arsenal, and after the defender’s loan spell in France last year, the Gunners could fetch a decent price for Tavares if they can push the fullback out the door.
With Bundesliga interest now there in Tavares, it could be a matter of time before a bid is made to sell the Portuguese talent, who could excel in Germany at the right club.
