Arsenal are already making plans for the fast-approaching summer transfer window.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been exploring a deal to sign Rafael Leao, as Arsenal look to upgrade on Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.

Atletico Madrid’s prolific frontman Julian Alvarez has also been linked to the Emirates Stadium, although that will be a very costly transfer to complete.

Arsenal can only sign Julian Alvarez if one of Viktor Gyokeres or Kai Havertz leaves. Who would you sell?

Arsenal ready move for Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal have joined the race to sign Leicester City’s teenage sensation Jeremy Monga.

Manchester United and Manchester City are already in the queue to land his signature, but Arsenal are now looking to wrap up a deal.

It’s claimed that Arteta’s chiefs are due to make a formal approach for the 16-year-old, who is the third youngest Premier League player in history.

Monga made his debut for Leicester last season at the age of 15 years and 271 days old, evincing how highly rated he is around the club.

The England youth international has continued in the first team this term, making 28 appearances in all competitions.

The 2009-born became the youngest goalscorer in Championship history when he netted against Preston North End back in August.

Dowman is very familiar with Monga, as they have played together on a number of occasions with England.

Perhaps the Arsenal teenager could convince him to make a move to North London instead of one of the Manchester clubs.
