Arsenal are preparing for a busy January transfer window that could see plenty of movement in and out of the club before the deadline.
There is just over one month until the transfer business commences, which could have an immediate impact on the Premier League title race and the Champions League battle.
The Gunners have rarely done business in the winter months, though Mikel Arteta is often open to any shrewd deals that could help the side.
That goes for both ins and outs at Arsenal, of which there could be a few as links continue to spring up ahead of the window.
Recent reports have linked Jorginho with a transfer to Besiktas, with claims that the Turkish outfit are close to turning the player’s head, though the club have already seemingly responded with their stance.

Arsenal set Jorginho transfer stance amid January exit links
Jorginho has been a useful squad player since joining Arsenal from rivals Chelsea, but his involvement has dwindled over the past few months.
The Italian international is now in the final six-months of his contract at the Emirates Stadium, leading to questions over his future.
While the 32-year-old is courting interest from Besiktas, the Gunners have already set a clear stance on his future.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal are set to “resist” any offers for Jorginho in the January window and intend to keep him until the end of the season.
Whether they have any intentions of keeping the experienced midfielder beyond that with a new contract remains to be seen though.
Jorginho has outlined his interest in coaching, which may put him in a position to join the staff at the club beyond his playing days.

Should Arsenal keep Jorginho in the January transfer window?
With just a few months left on his deal, most would question whether keeping Jorginho in favour of gaining some extra transfer funds is the right decision.
However, in reality, the funds are likely to be minimal given his age and deal length, while what he brings to the squad is intangible.
Jorginho has been at the very top and has won several major trophies, it’s the type of experience that is extremely hard to buy.
Putting him into the environment of players still looking for that first win, to get that experience he has already, can add that bit extra in terms of getting Arsenal over the line.
Add to that the ability to be dropped into games here and there, especially for a busy winter schedule, and he is still extremely useful.
Arsenal midfield depth
Declan Rice
Mikel Merino
Martin Odegaard
Thomas Partey
Jorginho
Ethan Nwaneri
Given how crucial the centre of the pitch is to any team, having that extra back-up is extremely useful to Arteta.
How Jorginho is replaced beyond the summer, should he leave, is another question entirely but it’s clear that for now, he is still someone who should be in the squad.
