Catch the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Vitor Reis, Dusan Vlahovic and Nico Williams.

Arsenal are still working hard to make the most of the January transfer window, with some chance to add to their squad.

The Gunners are yet to bolster their team, while only two exits have been confirmed from the squad so far this month.

It looks set to heat up in some capacity in the weeks ahead, though it remains to be seen exactly how much business Mikel Arteta’s team could complete.

So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours.

Arsenal target Vitor Reis set for Man City move

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Brazilian youngster Vitor Reis as a potential transfer for the future, but that now seems highly unlikely.

That’s because, according to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have reached a full agreement with Palmeiras to get a deal over the line.

The defender is set to undergo a medical and put the final confirmation on his switch from Brazil to England.

The 19-year-old has been tipped as one of the brightest up-and-coming talents in the world, having impressed in recent months.

It comes as a slight blow to Arsenal, though it seemed unclear if they could make a move in January anyway.

Dusan Vlahovic to Arsenal transfer bid rejected

Arsenal have seen an opening offer for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic rejected, reports Football Transfers.

The report claims that the Gunners made an initial loan offer for the striker, but the Bianconeri aren’t open to a switch.

Any move may have to be completed as an outright permanent deal, with just 18 months remaining on the contract of the Serbian international.

Arsenal previously held interest in the forward when he was at Fiorentina, but he turned down the chance to join Juventus.

With his contract saga now dragging out at his current club, it could see Mikel Arteta land a striker transfer target.

Fabrizio Romano gives update on Nico Williams to Arsenal transfer

Over the course of the January transfer window, Nico Williams has been linked with a transfer to Arsenal from Athletic Bilbao.

The Spaniard has a release clause worth roughly £50million that must be paid in full, along with high wages.

For that reason, according to Fabrizio Romano when writing for GiveMeSport, a move is extremely difficult for Arsenal this month.

It’s claimed that Williams is one of the “most appreciated” players on the shortlist though, which may help in pushing through an immediate deal.
