Catch all the latest Arsenal transfer news, including updates on Mika Biereth, Jakub Kiwior and Jorrel Hato.

Arsenal are nearly halfway through the January transfer window so far, but are yet to make any notable additions to the squad.

There have been a couple of exits, with one academy switch away and one loan exit confirmed so far for the month.

Mikel Arteta could still sanction a few transfers, with plenty of links surrounding possible moves into and out of the club.

So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours.

Arsenal transfer cash injection confirmed

Arsenal are set for a seven-figure fee as a result of former striker Mika Biereth confirming a transfer to AS Monaco.

The Hale End academy graduate left the Gunners in the summer of 2024, moving to Austrian side Sturm Graz.

Since joining, the forward has impressed and as a result, there has been a switch confirmed for the January window.

Biereth joining Monaco means Arsenal are due a multi-million-pound cash injection due to a sell-on clause included in his sale over the summer.

It remains to be seen exactly how much of that could be made available for another transfer in the January window for the Gunners.

Arsenal set stance on Jakub Kiwior exit

Defender Jakub Kiwior is facing an uncertain future at Arsenal, with a possible transfer exit on the cards this January.

The Polish international has struggled for game time this season, featuring during times when there have been injuries.

The performance levels have varied and while he doesn’t appear to be in favour there are talks over a possible move in the transfer window.

Plenty of interest has been shown by clubs in Serie A, though Arsenal have now set their stance on an exit.

According to TMW, Arsenal are showing no intention of sanctioning a permanent transfer in the transfer window.

It is claimed, though, that the summer could change that stance, with Kiwior asking for more minutes.

Chelsea lead Arsenal in Jorrel Hato transfer push

Arsenal have been linked with a possible transfer for Ajax youngster Jorrel Hato in the transfer window, having shown great potential.

There could be some disappointment though, as CaughtOffside claims that rivals Chelsea currently lead the race for his signature.

The Blues are looking to expand on the depth of young talent they already have in the team, having built a core of promising stars.

That’s not to say the race is over for Arsenal though, who are looking to dwindle their age profile slightly in the windows ahead.

Hato has been earmarked as one of the most promising young defenders coming through, which could see more teams than just Arsenal and Chelsea in the mix.
