Catch all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Leandro Trossard contract, Tyrick Mitchell deal and Joao Gomes.

It’s been a bit of a quiet January transfer window for Arsenal so far, with the side yet to make any big signings.

There have been some exits, with one permanent move and one loan switch already confirmed by the club.

As anticipation grows over other potential moves, fans are awaiting the next signing that could help change the season.

So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours.

Arsenal prepare Leandro Trossard contract talks

Arsenal are set to hold fresh contract talks with forward Leandro Trossard, according to reports from the Express.

The Belgian international is into the final 18 months of his deal with the Gunners, creating uncertainty over his position at the club.

There has been previous interest in a move to the Saudi Pro League, though it hasn’t gone through at this stage.

The 30-year-old could be poised for a stay, with talks set to kickstart over sealing another potential move.

Arsenal told Tyrick Mitchell transfer response

Arsenal have been linked with a potential move for Crystal Palace wing-back Tyrick Mitchell as uncertainty surrounds his future.

The 25-year-old is nearing the end of his contract with the Eagles, while they are on the search for new defensive options.

That could see him move on, though Football Insider reports that Crystal Palace aren’t looking to let Mitchell leave.

The academy product is claimed to be part of Oliver Glasner’s plans for the future, likely to rule out a potential move.

Joao Gomes to Arsenal transfer chance

Wolves star Joao Gomes is on the radar of Arsenal this January, reports transfer journalist Rudy Galetti.

The Brazilian has been a key player for the Old Gold this season, playing almost every match so far during the Premier League campaign.

The Gunners aren’t the only team to be showing interest in the 23-year-old, with Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United also looking into a deal.

Wolves aren’t open to selling, however, which is likely to complicate a move and may only allow for a switch in the summer.

That could push the chances of Arsenal completing a switch, though the interest may be longer-term.
