Catch all the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Anthony Gordon, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.

Arsenal are now facing a slight race against time to get a few transfers over the line, with just a few weeks remaining in the January market.

The Gunners are looking to add an option or two to the team, with several forwards linked with a potential switch.

Elsewhere, there are a few possible transfer exits on the cards, with a few stars facing chances to leave the club.

So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours ahead of another busy day.

Anthony Gordon transfer interest

Arsenal are among a whole host of clubs who “like” Newcastle star Anthony Gordon amid rumours over the star’s future.

That’s according to David Ornstein, who claims that the Gunners have admired the forward over the past year or so.

A transfer, at this stage however, seems unlikely as it was claimed an exit is viewed as the “last resort” from Newcastle if they are forced to make a sale.

It remains to be seen whether the Gunners can look to put pressure on a deal or not though, given their current need for a wide-forward option.

Matheus Cunha to Arsenal transfer “agreement”

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with striker Matheus Cunha ahead of a potential transfer, claims Football Transfers.

It’s stated that the talks over a contract are not a problem for the Gunners, but there is one clear stumbling block.

That being the stance of Wolves, with it stated that the Old Gold want £70million for the Brazilian – while Arsenal are holding out for closer to £45million.

Previous reports claimed that a deal in principle had been agreed between Cunha and Wolves over a contract extension.

However, with that seemingly stalling over the past week, there could be an opening for Arsenal to swoop in.

Benjamin Sesko transfer latest

Arsenal transfer target Benjamin Sesko is believed to be available for between €70million (£59million) and €75million (£63million), states ESPN.

That’s ahead of an anticipated summer transfer, rather than one in January, though the report claims the Gunners are yet to test the resolve of RB Leipzig.

The striker signed a new contract over the summer of 2024, extending his stay with the Bundesliga club, but with a potential view to an exit in the near future.
