Catch all the latest Arsenal transfer news, including updates on Kingsley Coman, Ronald Araujo and Marcus Rashford.

Arsenal’s January transfer window has been a quiet one so far, with the side looking to pounce on any potential opportunities in the market.

The Gunners have been linked with a forward, given their struggles in creating and scoring from open-play chances.

There are also chances for some potential exits, given a whole host of players are entering the final six months and 18 months of their contracts respectively.

So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news.

Arsenal eye Kingsley Coman transfer

The Arsenal hierarchy are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman during the January transfer window.

That’s according to Football Insider, which claims that the Frenchman could be set for an exit from the Bavarian club.

The report, including words from former scout Mick Brown, states: “I’m told they’ve had scouts in Germany keeping tabs on him and they’ll know what his level is.

“There’s always been plenty of interest there from Premier League clubs because he’s got a very good reputation within the game.

“He’s got great experience, ability and know-how, so somebody like him would be ideal for Arsenal.”

It remains to be seen whether a deal is on the cards though for any of the parties involved in a switch.

Hansi Flick breaks silence on Arsenal transfer target Ronald Araujo

Arsenal have been linked with a transfer for Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, with the star facing an uncertain future.

Just 18 months remain on the contract of the Uruguayan international, with the lack of a renewal on that deal pushing through a potential exit.

Arsenal Insider understands that Arsenal are yet to step up to make a deal possible for Araujo, with Juventus currently leading the race for his signature.

Current Barcelona boss Hansi Flick broke silence on the situation, telling the press: “Ronald [Araujo] returned from a terrible injury and is now fit to play.

“He is a good option and is very professional. It’s not my job to talk about rumours, but I want him in my team. He is one of the best defenders.”

It suggests that a deal may not be on the cards anyway, though that may depend on factors outside of the manager’s control anyway.

Ruben Amorim hints at Marcus Rashford transfer switch

Arsenal transfer target Marcus Rashford wasn’t involved in the side’s FA Cup clash over the weekend, not featuring in the squad.

The forward has been rumoured with a switch to the Emirates Stadium, with his future seemingly lying away from Old Trafford.

It was something Ruben Amorim addressed when he told the press: “I don’t know [If Rashford will play for Man Utd again]. We will see.

“He is a player for Manchester United. He loves this club but I have to make choices. It is what is is.”

It suggest that a switch is now firmly on the cards, but whether that turns out to be at Arsenal or not remains to be seen.
