Arsenal talks over Marquinhos loan transfer

Arsenal are in talks with Brazilian outfit Cruzeiro over a potential loan-to-buy transfer for winger Marquinhos, reports The Mirror.

The Brazilian has recently returned from a loan spell with Fluminense, where there was an option for a permanent sale.

That clause wasn’t triggered though, with the 21-year-old returning to Arsenal with an uncertain future ahead of him.

With Marquinhos seemingly having no way back for the Gunners, a switch to Cruzeiro could allow him to chart a new path for himself.

Alexander Isak transfer stance amid Arsenal and Chelsea interest

Newcastle striker Alexander Isak has become a clear target over the past few years, with the forward impressing at the top level.

While the Magpies look to keep hold of him, some pressure could be applied by Arsenal and Chelsea in the January transfer market.

Plenty would depend on the player pushing for a switch as well, though that is seeming unlikely at this stage.

That’s because, according to TBR Football, Isak is currently happy at Newcastle and isn’t looking to force a move away from the club.

The Magpies aren’t looking to entertain offers either, even with their own PSR concerns in the market.

It comes as a huge blow to Arsenal, who have been long-term admirers of the Swedish international ahead of a potential move.

Omar Marmoush to Arsenal transfer latest

Arsenal have been linked with a potential move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush after an impressive start to the Bundesliga campaign.

The Egyptian international has been in fine form, scoring regularly on the right wing from open play and direct free kicks.

With the Gunners looking to bolster their own forward options, a switch for Marmoush makes some sense, especially with a price tag of roughly £50million.

While Arsenal won’t be the only team in the race, Give Me Sport claims that they could be the frontrunners in the race.

That’s because Liverpool are holding fire on any potential bid, meaning that the Gunners could storm out in front of them.

Whether they decide to make that switch for Marmoush remains to be seen, however it’s clear that he is a quality options available in the market.
