That’s because according to Fabrizio Romano, the situation surrounding Cunha is one still to “be monitored” in the remaining weeks of the window.
There is a hold-up over some final details, though the journalist goes on to hint that Arsenal are attentive to the situation, along with a whole host of clubs.
Arsenal make ‘contact’ for Victor Osimhen transfer
As Arsenal continue to scour the market for new centre-forward options in January, the name Victor Osimhen has popped up once again.
The Gunners have previously been linked with a switch for the Nigerian international, who joined Galatasaray on loan in the summer from Napoli.
A break clause seemingly exists this month that could allow Osimhen to leave the Turkish giants in search of a new challenge.

Arsenal handed Elye Wahi transfer blow
Another striker recently on the radar of Arsenal in the January transfer window is RC Lens forward Elye Wahi.
The 22-year-old is rumoured to be on the radar of the Gunners, but Manchester City could cause problems in that chase.
That’s because, according to Florian Plettenberg, Eintracht Frankfurt are now in the race for Wahi to replace the City-bound Omar Marmoush.
With talks already underway, the move could be sealed before Arsenal even get a chance to make their move.
