While incoming players are a priority, there are some potential exits on the cards that are also making for an interesting summer.

So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours for today.

Fabrizio Romano reveals Arsenal “calls” for Jorrel Hato

Arsenal have “reopened calls” over a move for Ajax youngster Jorrel Hato this summer, following interest from rivals Chelsea.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that the Gunners are looking to be informed on the situation as they eye an opportunity to bolster the backline.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, he said: “This week, after the calls from Chelsea, since the Dean Huijsen deal didn’t happen for Chelsea and Arsenal, both clubs remain interested in Jorrel Hato.

“My understanding is that after Chelsea in the recent weeks, also Arsenal have restarted calling to be informed on the situation surrounding Jorrel Hato.”

Man City set to win race for Sverre Nypan deal

Sverre Nypan is a youngster who has been on the radar of Arsenal for some time, following plenty of extensive scouting.

However, despite that interest, the Gunners look set to miss out on the Norwegian prospect to rivals Manchester City, reports The Athletic.

The report states that an “agreement” is close, which is set to be a record sale from the Norwegian league as he waves goodbye to Rosenborg.

Man City plan to send the youngster back out on loan for the season, with Arsenal set to miss out.

How Arsenal feel about Viktor Gyokeres transfer chance

While Arsenal pursue a move for Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig this summer, the club remain interested in Viktor Gyokeres.

That’s according to the Independent, which claims that while interest is there, many clubs feel as though he is “overpriced”.

Rivals Manchester United are claimed to have the most interest, which could swing the transfer battle in their favour.
