Catch all the latest Arsenal news and rumours, including updates on Rodrygo, Rafael Leao and Lucien Agoume.
The Gunners are yet to announce a new signing, and frustration is subsequently growing among the club’s fanbase.
Andrea Berta is looking to operate quickly and decisively in the market, but complications have arisen which may have somewhat prevented this, particularly in the pursuit of a striker.
However, Martin Zubimendi has arrived in London ahead of his £55 million move from Real Sociedad, so at least one deal is close to completion.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours.
Rodrygo’s wage demands have been revealed
Arsenal want to sign a winger this season, and Rodrygo is near the top of their list.
The Brazilian could be surplus to requirements at Real Madrid, and he may be eager to leave anyway due to not being given the requisite opportunities to flaunt his talent in his favoured position.
AS reports that Rodrygo will expect a wage in a similar bracket to what he currently earns at the Bernabeu, around £10.3 million a year.

Given the Gunners were willing to fork out a substantial financial package for Nico Williams, these demands from the 24-year-old shouldn’t be an issue.

AC Milan want to sell Arsenal target Rafael Leao this summer
Another wide forward option for the Gunners could be AC Milan’s Rafael Leao.
Previously deemed ‘untouchable’ at the San Siro, CalcioMercato are now reporting that Milan want to sell the Portuguese winger this summer.
Looking to rebuild their squad under Massimiliano Allegri, the Italian giants are open to offers from a host of players, and could be willing to accept a proposal as low as £69 million for Leao.

Arsenal are well known to hold an interest in the dynamic forward, and could pounce on this opportunity.

Arsenal want to sign Lucien Agoume as Thomas Partey’s replacement
Thomas Partey is now expected to leave Arsenal this summer.
Despite Zubimendi’s arrival, the Gunners will need to add another midfielder to their ranks, with Jorginho also having departed N5.
Arsenal Insider have revealed that Sevilla’s Lucien Agoume is on their radar and is a genuine option that Berta is exploring.

A deal for less than £17 million could be struck with the Spanish club due to the difficult financial situation they find themselves in.
