Keep up with the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours, including updates on Thomas Partey, Bryan Mbeumo and Igor Jesus.

With the transfer window now officially open, Arsenal can get to work with putting their squad into shape for the 2025/26 season.

Andrea Berta is closing in on the first signing of his era as sporting director, with Martin Zubimendi set to sign for £51 million.

Beyond him, the Gunners are expected to make several changes to their forward ranks, with some new stars eyed.

So, with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal transfer news for another busy day.

Thomas Partey holds Barcelona contract talks

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is facing an uncertain future as he has until the end of the month before he becomes a free agent.

The Gunners have been engaged in talks with the Ghanaian international, with the hope of keeping him beyond the summer.

However, according to The Times, Partey’s entourage have been in talks with Barcelona too, discussing the possibility of a deal.

It could see the midfielder make his return to La Liga, having previously played for Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal showing keen interest in Bryan Mbeumo transfer

As the summer transfer window opens, plenty of focus is being placed on the forward signings Arsenal could make.

While a centre-forward is believed to be the priority, so too is a new winger who could help chip in with goals.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are keen on Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo as a potential opportunity to land this summer.

The North London club aren’t the only team on the radar, however, as Manchester United and Newcastle are also thought to be keen.

Arsenal transfer target Igor Jesus agrees Premier League move

One centre-forward who has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the past few months is Botafogo star Igor Jesus.

The Brazilian was on the club’s radar back in January, but no move was made to land him in the transfer window.

It may well be too late for any deal to be done, though, as The Athletic reports that Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest are close to agreeing a deal for the striker.

While unlikely to be a starting striker at Arsenal, the Gunners may well have to look for other potential young options for the future to help bolster their ranks.
