Arsenal’s search for attacking reinforcements has taken them all across Europe.
Andrea Berta is believed to be targeting players who can elevate Mikel Arteta’s squad immediately, while also giving the club a foundation for the future.
That approach has led to links with several of the brightest young talents in world football, including one player Juventus appear determined not to lose – Kenan Yildiz.
In fact, the Italian giants’ chief executive has now publicly admitted that Arteta wants him at Arsenal.
Which left winger would you most like to see Andrea Berta prioritise in 2026?
Juventus CEO says Mikel Arteta wants Kenan Yildiz at Arsenal
There are not many young attackers generating as much excitement as Yildiz.
The Turkey international has developed into one of Juventus’ most important players and is widely viewed as one of the biggest talents in European football.
Comfortable on either wing or through the middle, Yildiz possesses the sort of versatility that Arsenal boss Arteta values enormously.
That is why Arsenal’s interest makes complete sense.
The Premier League champions have been linked with a number of attacking players in recent months, but Yildiz stands out because of both his age and his ceiling.

At just 20 years old, he already looks capable of performing at the highest level.
Juventus are clearly aware of the growing interest too. Speaking publicly about the situation, chief executive Damien Comolli revealed that Arsenal admire Yildiz and even named Arteta directly.
He said in a statement, as per Sabah (June 11, 2026, page 15): “Kenan is untouchable. He is at the heart of our project. We know that Arsenal manager Arteta wants him. The English club possesses significant financial power.
“However, we would not sell our player even if they offered €100 million.”
Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?
CEO’s comments suggest Kenan Yildiz is worth way more than £86m
The interesting thing about Comolli’s comments is not that he called Yildiz untouchable – every executive says that about a player they want to keep.
The more revealing part was the claim that Juventus would reject an offer of €100 million (£86m). That effectively values Yildiz at more than that figure.
For Arsenal, that creates a serious dilemma. Yildiz, who has been valued at £115 million by CIES Football Observatory, is an outstanding talent and exactly the profile of player Berta should be targeting, but there comes a point where the financials stop making sense.
If Juventus genuinely have no intention of selling, Arsenal would likely have to break their transfer record by a huge margin to even start a conversation.
As exciting as Yildiz is, there may be better value available elsewhere in the market this summer.
