One of the biggest clubs in Europe is reportedly eyeing a shock swoop for an Arsenal star who Mikel Arteta is willing to let go this summer.
The upcoming transfer window is set to be a big one for the Gunners in terms of both new signings and departures, with a number of high-profile players expected to depart Arsenal in the coming months.
Having come so close to the Premier League title this season, Arteta is in a good position to make the deals possible that could get Arsenal over the line in the new campaign, with a new midfield and attacker a priority.
And one of Europe’s biggest sides could now make a move for an Arsenal player.

AC Milan eye swoop for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale
According to the Sun (02/06, page 65), AC Milan could make a ‘surprise’ move for Arsenal shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale, who could be made available this summer having losing his starting spot to David Raya.
A player who Arteta is willing to let go in the transfer window, the £30m-rated goalkeeper has been rumoured with a move away from Arsenal for some time, with Ramsdale last season one of the best in his position in the Premier League before being dropped.

With Newcastle United also linked with Ramsdale, there is a good chance that the 26-year-old England international will be on the move this summer, especially with a team as big as Milan now also interested in the goalkeeper.
Indeed, whilst Arsenal could still struggle to recoup a sizeable fee for Ramsdale, interest from the Serie A giants is an encouraging sign of how the market is feeling about the former Sheffield United star, who looks set to leave this summer.

Ramsdale should be pushing for Milan move this summer
Milan have become something of a European hub in recent years for English players who are clearly good enough for the Premier League yet for some reason were discarded by their teams, with Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek thriving with the San Siro giants.
And for Ramsdale, a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs should be something the Arsenal goalkeeper has to push for, especially if Mike Maignan ends up departing Milan like current rumours seem to suggest.
As we know, the Arsenal goalkeeper was unfairly dropped this season after two impressive years between the sticks for the Gunners, and Ramsdale deserves a shot to show the world what he’s capable of at one of the biggest teams in Europe in Milan.
